Gloria Wille
Gloria Wille is a Crochet and Knit Couture designer and artist. In her work, she combines classical crochet and knit patterns with contemporary designs to develop a new form of fashion perspectives. Focussing on sustainability, leftover fabrics, old wedding gowns or recycled yarns often find their way into Gloria Wille's collections. She adds and combines through crochet, making every piece unique. Her main goal is to revive the once presumed dead handcraft, transforming it into ornate and to detail Couture.
As an artist, she uses crochet as her weapon of choice to provoke, to hold a mirror up, start a debate... and sometimes just for creating a utopian fairytale. Gloria Wille draws her inspiration mostly from music:
